In the awakening of the masses and the heavy world events that are taking place around us an inspiration for a show named “The Language of heART” Emerges. Watching the world being introduced to so much darkness, unfolding lies, the many words being spoken, the division taking place, distribution of hate, oppression, a loss of trust in our justice system, the feeling of hopelessness surfaces as we feel immobile to act. I can’t stop thinking about how we exhausted the spoken language and neglected the form of expression to tell our story. Art has always and will always be a from of a language used that doesn’t require clearing up. Being at war within ourselves and with others, I want to find the serenity to tell the story of my heart through this art. As Atelier Jolie Gallery prepares to showcase its selected artists in a group show, I encourage them to bring a piece of their heART to show the public what they stand for, what they live for, what they believe in, how they want the world to see them and hopefully be ready to tell their story through the language of Art, in solidarity as creatives.
